Thank goodness, my grandfather, William Arthur Moyer, kept pictures and some letters. After he died my son, John, lovingly took the collection and made a scrapbook, and I digitized it from there. Some of these pictures we had had to get developed from glass plates. The family lived in Springfield, Cotton Hill, Taylorville, and Morrisionville. The young couples with the musical instruments are not identified. My grandparents moved to San Antonio, Texas, where my dad was born, and then soon to Beaumont, Texas, where they lived out their lives. This scrapbook pretty well chronicles their life's journey.
